2025 Varsity Football Program

Marcus Wells ’90 is in his fifth year as the Eagles’ Head Coach and Program Director and has been part of the ESJ staff for twelve years, including roles as Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. As one of the most decorated players in Eagle football history, he set several school records and went on to play at Cornell University before completing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida and later earning his master’s from Grand Canyon University. Coach Wells began teaching prior to his graduate studies and is the proud parent of Episcopal alumni Noah ’16, Maia ’18, Olivia ’23, and Christian ’24.
