Most gifts to Episcopal are cash contributions for which donors receive tax benefits if they itemize deductions.
Give by Mail or Phone
Cash gifts can be paid by making a check payable to Episcopal School of Jacksonville and designating the fund name on the memo line. Mail checks to:
Episcopal School of Jacksonville
Office of Institutional Advancement
4455 Atlantic Boulevard
Jacksonville, FL 32207
To make a gift by phone, contact Lisa Allen at 904-396-5751, extension 1102.
Give online with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).
Make a recurring gift by choosing that option on the online donation pages.
Pledge a Gift
You can pledge your gift online to support Episcopal at https//esj.org/donate-now/. Pledges to The Episcopal Fund must be fulfilled by June 30, 2023. Pledge reminders will be mailed in December, March, and May.
Please contact Ryan Riggs at [email protected] (904.396.5751, extension 1202) or Lisa Allen at [email protected] (904.396.5751, extension 1102) for wire transfer assistance.
Yours may be one of the many employers who offer matching-gift programs which double - and in some cases even triple - the value of your gift to the school. Please contact your employer for matching gift guidelines for your company.
Appreciated Stocks and Securities
Donors may realize substantial tax savings by transferring appreciated stock to the school prior to the sale. Capital gains on the amount of appreciation may be avoided, and the donor receives a tax deduction based on the fair market value of the stock on the date the stock is transferred. To transfer stock, please notify Ryan Riggs, Director of Major Gifts ([email protected]) and Buck Williams at [email protected] or Franklin Beard at [email protected] to notify them of the pending transfer.
Please provide the following when transferring stock:
Description of security
Number of shares
Designation of gift (if any)
Electronic Transfer: UBS Financial Services
For the benefit of Episcopal School of Jacksonville
Account Number: V5 71786
The Donor name should be referenced in the notes section.
Whether through a bequest or an income-producing structured gift, planned gifts can realize substantial benefits for donors and for Episcopal. Contact Ryan Riggs at [email protected] or 904.396.5751, extension 1109 for more information.
Gifts of Personal Property
Episcopal’s gift acceptance policy includes a provision for gifts of personal property as long as certain conditions are met. Please check with Ryan Riggs at [email protected] or 904.396.5751, extension 1109 on the gift you are considering.
If you are 70½ or older, you can transfer all or part of your required minimum distribution (up to $100,000) to Episcopal tax free, as the transfer is not the same as if you had received it as income. Up to $100,000 can count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RDA). These transfers can be used to pay off a pledge or make an outright gift.
