ESJ’s Varsity Sailing team concluded a strong 2025–2026 season, finishing seventh in the SAISA North Points District and earning a spot in the SAISA District Championship, (an accomplishment comparable to advancing to a state championship in a sport like soccer). At districts, ESJ sailors competed against top programs from across the Southeast and beyond, including teams from the U.S. Virgin Islands. The team also captured a big local victory this season, winning the 2026 Battle of the River against Bishop Kenny. Seniors were recently celebrated during Senior Night and have excelled both on the water and in the classroom. They will attend outstanding universities such as Dartmouth College and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next year.
