“The First Thanksgiving” Opens a Season of Student Performances

Kindergarten students presented “The First Thanksgiving” on Wednesday, November 19, on stage in the Lori Schiavone Commons. Dressed as turkeys, pilgrims, and Indians, students recited poems and performed adorable and hilarious songs, including the much-loved song “Strut Mr. Turkey”! The kindergarten performance is the first of several opportunities for students to take center stage this holiday season. In the coming weeks, first – third graders will delight the audience in “TOYS! The Musical” (December 4),  fourth and fifth graders will lead a meaningful Lessons & Carols worship service in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (December 12), and Pre-K 4 students will perform a Christmas program (December 17).
