On Saturday, November 15, the St. Mark’s Campus hosted an “Art and Design of Display” workshop, drawing over 60 guests from the ESJ community and beyond. The discussion was led by Atlanta-based artist Lindsey McCord, A Vision for Art Featured Artist, and Emily Magevney, art expert, collector, and ESJ parent. Attendees enjoyed an informative and hands-on session covering how to choose artwork that complements a space, tips for framing like a professional, achieving the perfect scale and lighting, and creative, budget-friendly ideas for displaying favorite pieces. Attendees also had the opportunity to purchase Lindsey’s work and receive one-on-one advice on displaying art in their homes.
Lindsey will return to Jacksonville for A Vision for Art, April 17 – 20, 2026, alongside more than 40 professional artists from across the Southeast. During her visit to Jacksonville, Lindsey also spent the day working with students from the St. Mark’s Campus, who helped her paint patterns on paper she will turn into original art to display and sell during A Vision for Art.
