Senior Fine Arts students were celebrated at the annual Fine Arts Awards last week. The following seniors were recognized for their accomplishments: McRae Busey: Honors in Ceramics; Jonathan Ritchie: Honors in Draw Paint Print; Julia Dinzelbacher: Honors in Photography; Claire Drake: National Art Honor Society Award; Alina Pajcic: Honors in Dance; Elizabeth Stoval: NHSDA Award; Susanna Ball: Honors in Chorus; Lawson Perry: Tri-M Music Award; Elsa Evert: Honors in Theatre Arts; Lillybelle Thoburn: International Thespian Award; Griffin Worley: Honors in Spatial Design; Holly Garrett: Honors in Technical Theatre; Evan Van Brunt: John Philip Sousa Award; Dylan Olszewski: Louis Armstrong Jazz Award; Ainsley Hunt: Fine Arts Ambassador Award; Lucrezia Gowdy: Sunshine Award Visual Arts; and Emily Gunnlaugsson: Sunshine Award Performing Arts. The Juried Art Show Winner seniors for photography were Victoria Ero, Mia Saenz, and Julia Dinzelbacher. Draw Paint Print winners were Tabitha Borge, Ainsley Hunt, and Madison deVaux. Ceramics winners were McRae Busey, Catherin Cook, and Dylan Hauser. Tabitha Borge’s artwork was chosen as the FANS purchase award, which will be displayed in the Berg Gallery for five years. All fine arts track seniors received a copy of their headshots and were recognized for their commitment to their art. FANS provided an amazing reception. “I am grateful for the incredible passion and talent of each and every one of our senior artists. They are leaving their mark and we will miss them,” said Katie Black-Bowling ’95, Director of Fine Arts.
