Class Year: Sophomore
Interests: Weightlifting, Instrumental Music, Band Concert, NJHS, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Eagle Ambassador
Favorite Class: English 7 with Dr. Giddens has been my favorite class to date. This is primarily because of Dr. Giddens teaching techniques which often seemed strange and weird, yet it was by far one of the most influential English classes I have taken as he managed to effectively lay the groundwork for future classes (not just English). For example, we spent a lot of time writing about bizarre foods that, although strange at the time, bettered my non-analytical writing.
What makes you proud to be an Eagle: The opportunities offered by Episcopal are what make me proud to be an eagle. The expertise of Mr. Hernandez and Mr. Hersey (plus the fine arts department in general) have allowed me to flourish in representing our school in opportunities such as All-District.
What would you want a prospective Eagle to know before coming on a tour with you: One of the main struggles about this school is the rigorous curriculum. Although challenging, it is important to know that being challenged helps build a stronger ability to learn and has helped me grow not only as a student but as a person in general.
Fun Fact: I have a hand difference in my right hand.
