Philippa Marks Returns as Program Director and Head Volleyball Coach

Philippa Marks will return as Volleyball Program Director and Head Varsity Coach in the 2026 season. Coach Marks brings 14 years of coaching experience, including 10 years serving as Program Director and Head Varsity Coach at Episcopal. During her previous coaching tenure, she led Varsity Volleyball to four district championships, three regional championships, and three State Final Four appearances. Additionally, 13 ESJ student-athletes advanced to play volleyball at the collegiate level under her leadership. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Coach Marks serves as a dean on campus. “We are especially excited that, as a full-time member of our faculty, she will have the opportunity to positively impact our student-athletes and volleyball program on a daily basis,” said Andy Kidd ’99, Director of Athletics. “I am confident that our volleyball program is in good hands under Coach Marks’ leadership, and I look forward to the continued growth and success ahead.” Coach Marks will be communicating information regarding plans for this summer and fall in the near future with players and families.
