Munnerlyn Campus Observes World Mental Health Day

Middle and Upper School students, faculty, and staff observed World Mental Health Day (WMHD) by dressing themselves and the campus in green. Members of the Community Service Council and Vestry enthusiastically greeted cars at drop-off areas with beads, ribbons, and signs with uplifting messages. The Friday intercom prayer had a WMHD theme, as did the desserts served at lunch by SAGE Dining. Additionally, the Haskell Center for Science and Student Life walkway was lined with WMHD signs, the AIR Student Council hosted an affirmations station, and the Bryan Library featured a special book display and self-care stations. The overall objective of the day was to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.
