“The Dot” tells the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. Each year on International Dot Day (September 15), classes will read “The Dot” and incorporate ways to celebrate creativity, courage, and collaboration throughout the day.
Please note that this year, students will focus on the heart of the message on this special day and should wear their regular school uniforms. Families do not need to make or purchase a dot shirt for this celebration, as they have in years past.
