Sixteen members of the Class of 2025 have committed to studying the arts in college. “This demonstrates that these students have discovered something about themselves while exploring their artistic voice here at ESJ that they cannot imagine living without. These 16 seniors will continue to stretch themselves to grow and create and make an impact with their much needed voices in this world,” said Katie Black-Bowling ’95, Director of Fine Arts. Performing arts students are Dylan Olszewski (Jazz Performance, University of Miami); Julia Barrow (Film and Television, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU); Olivia Wright (Theatre Performance, Appalachian State University); Jeremy Sessoms (Cinematic Arts, Flagler College); Elsa Evert (BFA in Acting, University of Florida); Clancy Skeels (BFA in Acting, Sante Fe); Lillybelle Thoburn (Theatre and Creative Writing, Florida State University); Simone Duguid (Creative writing and fine arts, University of North Florida); Emily Gunnlaugsson (Creative Writing, Smith College); and Holly Garrett (Creative Writing and Education, Western Carolina University). Visual arts majors include Sarah Frances Magevney (Art History, College of Charleston); Audrey Vermillion (Architecture, University of Florida); Ainsley Hunt (History of Art and Architecture, Trinity College Dublin); Julia Dinzelbacher (Studio Art with a concentration in Photography, University of Maryland); Tabitha Borge (BFA in Painting and Drawing, University of North Florida); and Lyla Blethyn (Architecture, University of Florida).
