Patrick Zak ’29, Liam Wong ’26, Andrew Borne ’27, Jackson Kennedy ’29, William Brown ’30, and Joshua Oyetunde-Baer ’30, were recently selected to participate in the highly competitive All-District Honors Band, held at Atlantic Coast High School January 29-31. This annual event is reserved for the top student musicians in Duval and Nassau counties. Students earned their placement through an audition process and were nominated for their outstanding musicianship, competing against talented peers from across the surrounding area.Those selected had the unique opportunity to work with renowned composers and conductors, gaining valuable musical insight and performance experience. The Honors Bands were comprised of the highest-achieving band students in the region, making this accomplishment especially meaningful.
