Soccer (Girls) – Varsity

The Girls Soccer program includes a Middle School team, a co-ed Middle School team, a Junior Varsity team, and a Varsity team. The Varsity Girls team has advanced to regional play in each of the last seven years. The 2024 team won the district championship and made a run to the state quarterfinals. Soccer is also offered on the St. Mark’s and Beaches Campuses to students as an extracurricular sport. The teams are under the leadership of Program Director and Head Coach Jay Bolt.

Jay Bolt

Jay Bolt  is the Program Director and Head Varsity Coach at Episcopal. Coach Bolt compiled a stellar playing career, including four years of Division 1 competition at the University of North Florida and three years at the professional level with the Charleston Battery.  At UNF, he was a team captain, earned all-conference honors four times and all-region honors three times, and was named conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2016. As a professional, he was named Newcomer of the Year for the Battery in 2018. Preceding his collegiate and professional career, Coach Bolt was named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Florida State Player of the Year and an NSCAA All-American as a member of The Bolles School soccer team in 2013. please reach out to Coach Bolt at boltj@esj.org
