Sailing – Fall Sailing

The Sailing program is led by Florida Yacht Club Waterfront Director Jodi Weinbecker and Junior Program Director Dustin Domer. The Club Sailing team trains out of the Florida Yacht Club located on the St. Johns River.

Coach Weinbecker has been the Waterfront Director at the Florida Yacht Club since 2013 and has coached sailing for more than 15 years. Coach Domer coached for more than eight years at the Columbia Yacht Club and the Chicago Yacht Club before joining the Florida Yacht Club as Junior Program Director.

Sailing practices twice a week at the Florida Yacht Club from 4:00-6:30 p.m., with transportation provided by the school. The team also participates in strength and conditioning with on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday practices are held on weekends that the teams are not traveling to regattas.
