Basketball (Boys) – JV

Matt Flakus, Head JV Boys Basketball Coach

The Episcopal Boys Basketball program fields six Middle School teams, Junior Varsity, and Varsity, with additional teams at the Beaches and St. Mark’s campuses beginning in third grade. This pathway gives players opportunities to develop from their earliest years through Upper School. Munnerlyn Campus teams practice and compete in the Semmes Gym and Alumni Gym.

Varsity Boys Basketball has advanced to the Regional playoffs in each of the last five seasons, averaging 20 wins per year during that span. Numerous Episcopal players have continued their basketball careers at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels. In 2022, the Eagles set an FHSAA record by making 24 three-pointers in a single game, a total ranked 10th nationally according to the NFHS.

From introductory basketball to Varsity competition, the program provides opportunities for student-athletes to build their skills and contribute to Episcopal’s winning tradition.
