Save the date information for Grandparents’ Day events on each campus will be mailed in early August to grandparents with mailing addresses on file.

Last Day of School – Early Dismissal/No Extended Day (May 22)

Friday, May 22 is the last day of school and Noon dismissal. Afternoon Eagles is closed.

Please note the following dismissal instructions:

 

  • Families with only Pre-Kindergarten and K-5 grade siblings:
    You may remain in your car and go through the Little Loop carpool circle for pick-up.

 

  • Families with children in ELP 1–grade 5:
    • K–5 siblings will be walked over to the Little Loop, where you can pick up all of your children together. 
    • If you have a student in ELP 1 or ELP 2, you will need to park and walk up to Dempsey Chapel to pick up your child. Your older children will be waiting on the deck. ELP 1 and ELP 2 students will be ready for pick up at 11:50.

 

  • Families with multiple children in K–5:
    Pick up will take place at the Main Carpool area.

Guests who wish to remain on campus after dropping children off are invited to mingle with parents and enjoy coffee outside the church.

  1. Bring two of your favorite things (same item) valued at $20 each.

  2. Each person will take turns sharing why they love their item.

  3. Everyone will draw names to exchange their items with two different people.

  4. You’ll go home with two new favorite things from friends!

A fun-filled day is planned for kindergarten through fifth grade!  Children will participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
Please send your child to school wearing:
  • Sneakers
  • Athletic clothes (plus, an extra change of clothes in case anything gets wet)
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Grade-level colors
    – Kindergarten: Blue
    – Grade 1: Orange

As the 2025-2026 school year comes to an end, we will celebrate with water slides, water play, popsicles, and tasty treats from the Kool Scoops truck!

  • This is a free dress day! 
  • A pizza lunch is provided. Please feel free to send sides or additional food if your child does not like pizza or needs additional food.
    • 1 slice for ELP 1- Pre-K 3
    • 2 slices for Pre-K 4 – third grade
    • 3 slices for fourth grade
  • Students should wear bathing suits under their clothes to school. Please bring a dry change of clothes.
  • Please apply sunscreen at home.
  • Please bring a towel labeled with your child’s name and a bag for their wet bathing suit.

Children who are not potty-trained should wear their regular diaper to school and bring their bathing suit.

Fruit of the Spirit Gatherings (Grades 1-5)

Each month, first – fifth grade students are recognized by peers and teachers for demonstrating qualities of the Fruit of the Spirit that the Apostle Paul writes about in his letter to the church in Galatia. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23. Parents are welcome to attend these afternoon gatherings, as they are all Chapels and gatherings.

2025 End of the Year Library Reminder

During the week of May 5 – May 9, each student will only be able to have one library book out.  After May 9, there will be no more checkouts.  All library books, including Birthday Books, need to come back to the library by Friday, May 16.
