STATEMENTS and TUITION PAYMENTS
- Student accounts must be current in order to start school in August.
- AutoPay is the easiest and best way to make your tuition payments. AutoPay is invoice year specific and must be set up each year. Make sure you have set up AND “Enabled” AutoPay for 2026-27.
SCHOOL CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP
- If you received a School Choice Scholarship, have submitted the Award ID and have approved your student’s registration in the EMA portal, you should see a credit reflected on your statement. If you do not see a credit AND you have completed all of the required steps, email financialaid@esj.org.
As the new school year begins, we want to remind our community to purchase Episcopal apparel and spirit wear only from approved vendors. From time to time, unauthorized websites and unofficial vendors may claim to offer “Episcopal gear” for sale. However, only school-approved vendors are authorized to produce and sell apparel featuring Episcopal’s name, logos, or branding.
Purchasing from approved vendors helps ensure that products meet our brand standards and that your personal and payment information remains secure.
Episcopal School of Jacksonville’s approved vendors are:
- ESJ Campus Store (located on the Munnerlyn Campus)
- Lands’ End
- Baker’s Sports
Additional approved vendors (such as Crowley Printing, Custom Ink, and others) may be used for specific school group or club apparel with prior approval from Episcopal’s Marketing Communications Office.
If you are ever unsure whether a vendor is authorized, please contact the Marketing Communications Office at info@esj.org before placing an order.
New This Week
With Christmas class parties happening today, December 19, parents are encouraged to stop by the Lost & Found while on campus. Missing jackets, water bottles, and other items are ready to go home before the holiday break.
The Lost & Found is located in the back of the Lori Schiavone Commons.
As the Christmas season approaches, students, faculty, staff, and families gathered last week for meaningful Lessons and Carols service that blended music, scripture, and reflection. Students shared scripture passages and performed a variety of Christmas songs using hand chimes, recorders, ukuleles, drums, and voice. It was the perfect opportunity to experience the true spirit of Christmas!

Pre-K 4 students delighted families and friends this week as they brought the story of Christmas to the stage in a heartwarming Nativity program. The young performers transformed the space into a living Nativity, confidently stepping into their roles and sharing simple lines that retold the timeless story. With wide smiles and enthusiastic voices, they captured the wonder and meaning of the Nativity in a heartwarming way only young children can. Having experience performing in ELP 2 and Pre-K 3, the presentation highlighted their growing confidence as they spoke before an audience and worked together to tell the story of the birth of Jesus.

- Fathers and special friends come to the classrooms between 8:10 – 8:15 a.m. to walk children to church.

All one- and five-mile registrants will receive a short-sleeved Ortega River Run shirt to wear on t-shirt day (February 20) and race day (February 21).
If you have a younger child not ready to race, toddler shirts are available. Adult long-sleeve shirts are also available. The deadline to order toddler and long-sleeve shirts is Friday, January 23.

Please return all birthday books given out in August, September, or October before Christmas Break (December 19).
All students are invited to wear Christmas PJs and accessories the day before break (December 19). Homeroom parents will contact parents in their class regarding specifics for class parties taking place on this day.

Friday, December 19, is early dismissal (noon). Afternoon Eagles is closed. Holiday Care is open for students who registered in advance.
Early dismissal instructions:
- Families with only Pre-Kindergarten and K-5 grade siblings:
You may remain in your car and go through the Little Loop carpool circle for pick-up.
- Families with children in ELP 1–grade 5:
- K–5 siblings will be walked over to the Little Loop, where you can pick up all of your children together.
- If you have a student in ELP 1 or ELP 2, you will need to park and walk up to Dempsey Chapel to pick up your child. Your older children will be waiting on the deck. ELP 1 and ELP 2 students will be ready for pick up at 11:50.
- Families with multiple children in K–5:
Pick up will take place at the Main Carpool area.

Parents are invited to join the St. Mark’s Campus Parent Book Club to read and discuss The Gift of Failure by Jessica Lahey (Amazon link to purchase).
In The Gift of Failure, Lahey explores how allowing children to face challenges and setbacks helps them develop resilience, confidence, and independence. With relatable examples from school, home, sports, and friendships, the book offers a hopeful guide for raising capable children.
