STATEMENTS and TUITION PAYMENTS
- Student accounts must be current in order to start school in August.
- AutoPay is the easiest and best way to make your tuition payments. AutoPay is invoice year specific and must be set up each year. Make sure you have set up AND “Enabled” AutoPay for 2026-27.
SCHOOL CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP
- If you received a School Choice Scholarship, have submitted the Award ID and have approved your student’s registration in the EMA portal, you should see a credit reflected on your statement. If you do not see a credit AND you have completed all of the required steps, email financialaid@esj.org.
As the new school year begins, we want to remind our community to purchase Episcopal apparel and spirit wear only from approved vendors. From time to time, unauthorized websites and unofficial vendors may claim to offer “Episcopal gear” for sale. However, only school-approved vendors are authorized to produce and sell apparel featuring Episcopal’s name, logos, or branding.
Purchasing from approved vendors helps ensure that products meet our brand standards and that your personal and payment information remains secure.
Episcopal School of Jacksonville’s approved vendors are:
- ESJ Campus Store (located on the Munnerlyn Campus)
- Lands’ End
- Baker’s Sports
Additional approved vendors (such as Crowley Printing, Custom Ink, and others) may be used for specific school group or club apparel with prior approval from Episcopal’s Marketing Communications Office.
If you are ever unsure whether a vendor is authorized, please contact the Marketing Communications Office at info@esj.org before placing an order.
New This Week
The Registrar’s Office is in transition, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as our team works to finalize schedules. Official Student Schedules will be posted on Student and Parent Portals in My ESJ on Friday, August 7.
To access schedules after August 7,
- Parents can access this report in the Parent Portal by clicking on the “Classes & Reports” link next to the student’s name/picture, then the “Current Class Schedule” link.
- Students can access this report in the Student Portal by clicking on the “Classes & Reports” button, then the “Current Class Schedule” link.
Emails regarding schedules should be sent to registrar@esj.org. Inquiries via email aid in tracking to ensure your issue is addressed and an email response is sent.
Dear Parents of 9th graders,
The Freshman Orientation Adventure is approaching quickly! Counselors and teachers have been busy making plans to take the entire Freshman Class camping, hiking, and whitewater rafting. Please note the following reminders:
- Hiking boots (not hiking shoes) are the only permissible footwear on land during the trip. Each student will also need a pair of closed-toed water shoes for stream activities. Make sure boots have been broken in before the trip.
- The mandatory Pre-Trip Freshman Meeting will be held in the Munnerlyn Center from 12:15 – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, which is the day before we leave on the trip. Students must wear their hiking boots to this meeting. Parents are not expected to attend this meeting.
- Freshmen should arrive at school on Wednesday, August 12, at 5:30 a.m. to board the buses to Georgia. There will be two locations for boarding the buses. During the orientation meeting on Tuesday, the students will get their boarding information.
- If your child will be taking prescription medications during the trip, they will be collected at the start of the meeting by Tonya Carter. Please bring a 4 day supply of each medication in the original container.
- Teachers will carry common over-the-counter medications that they can administer to students as needed. If there are other non-prescription medications or supplements that your student takes regularly, please follow the prescription medication process.
- The adventurous nature of this trip is demanding. Students must be in good health to participate, so please encourage them to be safe, hydrated, and rested.
- The packing list, itinerary, trip video trailer, and an informational podcast are all available on the 9GOA link under the “Important Now” section of your My ESJ Parent Portal. If you have questions or concerns you can reach Megan Wickenden via email: wickendenm@esj.org

Greetings and happy summer! Planning for the 2026-2027 school year is well underway as we prepare to welcome you all back in August after a fun-filled summer break. Please review the summer checklist below to help you prepare and ensure a smooth start to the new school year:
REQUIRED HEALTH FORMS
Required Magnus health forms for the 2026-2027 school year are now available on the My ESJ Parent Portal. Once logged in, simply click the “Submit Forms via Magnus” button under Important Right Now. Please note – forms need to be uploaded via a desktop computer.
- Health Forms Deadline: August 1
- Athletics Forms Deadline: Due prior to the start of fall seasons on July 27.
**Please note, students may not start school until these forms are complete
TEXTBOOKS, SUPPLIES, AND SUMMER LEARNING
Student course lists are now available on the My ESJ Parent Portal.

- Upper School (Grades 9-12):
Student courses are confirmed and can be viewed in the My ESJ Student and Parent portals on the Course Enrollment Document. If you have questions or concerns, please email Ms. Day, days@esj.org. Email enables all questions/concerns to be tracked and allows us to respond more efficiently than voicemail.
- Middle School (Grades 7-8):
Student core courses are confirmed and can be viewed in the My ESJ Student and Parent portals on the Course Enrollment Document. Electives will be finalized, and an updated Course Enrollment Document will be posted on July 14.
- Middle School (Grade 6):
All sixth-grade students take the same courses, with the exception of the 6th Grade Elective Wheel/Beginning Middle School Band. The Course Enrollment Document will be posted on July 14.
Make preparing for the 2026-2027 school year a breeze by visiting the ESJ Online Store at esj.org/store to purchase summer reading books, textbooks, and Middle School supplies.

- Visit the Summer Learning page of My ESJ for information on summer reading books and summer assignments.
- Middle School parents should view the Supply List page of My ESJ to review their child’s supply needs. (Upper School students will receive supply lists from teachers the first few days of school.)
- The ESJ Online Store is the best place to purchase textbooks and novels for all grades, including summer reading, and Middle School supply kits. For 6th grade, you have the additional convenience of purchasing a pre-made book box which includes all required textbooks and first semester novels. These pre-made boxes will include a combination of both new and used textbooks.

UNIFORMS
Uniform guidelines are located on the uniform section of My ESJ. Lands’ End, Episcopal’s uniform provider for Pre-K 3 through twelfth grades.
Each campus will have a fit line which consists of a small selection of sizes available for students to try on before ordering online from Lands’ End.

- Munnerlyn Campus: The Campus Store offers uniform shirts, including chapel shirts and ties, as well as uniform skirts for Middle and Upper School students. Items are available for try-on and purchase. Stop by or schedule a one-on-one appointment at the Campus Store. The summer hours are 8:30 am – 2:30 pm, M-F.
STUDENT SERVICES
If your child has updated or new documentation related to a diagnosed learning disability or mental health challenge, please submit the documentation to the Student Services team at studentservices@esj.org in order to establish a support plan prior to the start of school.
BUS TRANSPORTATION
Episcopal offers transportation options to and from the Munnerlyn Campus for students coming from both the Beaches areas (Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, Beaches Campus) and the Westside of Jacksonville (Riverside, Avondale, and Ortega.) Routes are dependent on a minimum number of riders and may be subject to change. Final routes and times for the first semester will be confirmed by August 1 and by December 1 for the second semester. GRANDPARENT INFORMATION
Enter or update grandparent information in your Household Profile on the My ESJ Parent Portal prior to July 10.
Save the date information for Grandparents’ Day events on each campus will be mailed in early August to grandparents with mailing addresses on file.

Keep an eye out for additional communications this summer with more detailed information. One mid-summer edition of the Episcopal Insider parent email will be sent on June 19. As we reach the midpoint of summer break, we hope each student is enjoying their downtime. Whether you are spending time with family and friends, participating in activities that bring you joy, or simply relaxing, we hope this time away prepares you to return in August feeling refreshed and enthusiastic for the upcoming school year.
As we prepare for the start of a new school year, we would like to share an important update from the Student Life Office. To provide greater clarity in our expectations while continuing to reinforce our community standards and school spirit, the Outerwear Policy has been revised for the 2026–2027 school year. Please review the information below regarding this change.
Outerwear Policy
- Only Episcopal sweatshirts, sweaters, and jackets can be worn as outerwear. These items can be purchased from the Campus Store or through an Episcopal School of Jacksonville extracurricular activity, i.e, athletics, fine arts, academic competition team, etc.
- Outerwear must fit properly and may not be longer than the uniform bottoms.
- Uniform tops must be worn under Episcopal outerwear.
- On cold or rainy days, students are allowed to wear a jacket or coat over their Episcopal outerwear. The jacket or coat may only be in one of the following colors: white, gray, khaki, brown, black, dark blue, or maroon. It can only have one small logo or emblem on the jacket or coat. Inappropriate insignias, wording, or offensive embellishments are not allowed.

We look forward to kicking things off with the class of 2027! All seniors must attend one of five Application Kickoff sessions offered Aug 1, Aug 8, Aug 10, Aug 15, or Aug 22. Each session will take place in the Gooding Boardroom (library conference room) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Seniors who have not yet signed up for a session need to complete the Application Kickoff RSVP (available only through the student’s esj.org account) to reserve a seat. Students may change their date through the same link if their plans change.
About Application Kickoff
Episcopal College Counselors meet with all seniors to ensure a smooth start to the application season and senior year.
We’ll revisit essential tools, including the Common Application and Scoir, ensuring each senior understands the necessary policies, procedures, and requirements.
In addition, seniors will complete important authorization forms, update their college lists, learn about required procedures, and set up individual meetings with their college counselor.
Throughout the year, Episcopal’s College Counselors guide and support seniors with every aspect of the admissions process – from balancing the college list to brainstorming essay responses to reviewing applications and essays prior to submission.
Application Kickoff is one of many programs Episcopal College Counseling hosts each year to ensure that students are well-informed and well-supported.
