Families can mix and match week-long camps throughout June and July, including:

  • Classic Day Camps for rising Kindergarten through Grade 8
  • Sports Camps like basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, football, wrestling, tennis, track & field, pickleball, rowing, and strength training
  • Arts & Performance camps featuring musical theater, acting, comedy, dance intensives, photography, costume design, ceramics, studio art, and mixed media
  • STEM, Science & Exploration camps including STEM Camp, Science of Inquiry, Florida Ecology, LEGO, and Film & TV Production
  • Outdoor & Adventure options like beach and inshore fishing, swimming, horseback riding, and sculling

Students, faculty and staff will participate in P.S. I Love You Day on Friday, February 13. Students are encouraged to wear purple in honor of this day. The mission of the P.S. I Love You Day organization is to instill hope for those affected by mental illness and foster a supportive environment and community where everyone feels welcomed, loved and supported. Please join us for our last FANS meeting of the year on Thursday, May 7, from 8:15-9:15 in the Fine Arts Lounge located in the Munnerlyn Center. We’ll have coffee and treats, and we look forward to gathering together in support of the Fine Arts program!

Fine Arts Nurturing Students (FANS) is a parent volunteer organization that enhances the fine arts experience for every Episcopal student and the entire ESJ community. FANS provides essential support to our fine arts students and faculty. As an Episcopal parent, you are automatically a member of every parent organization, including FANS!

 

ESJ Summer Programs Counselor Application

ESJ Summer Programs is excited to invite new applicants to our Summer Programs team! This is a great opportunity to spend your summer working with younger students in day camps, sports camps, and visual arts programs.

Being part of our summer team means gaining leadership experience, building connections in our school community, and having a fun, meaningful summer working with kids. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn community service hours (needed for graduation) while developing valuable skills you can carry with you beyond the summer.

The application deadline is February 27, which allows us to begin the interview process. If your child would be a good fit, please help them complete the Google Form to express their interest and availability.

Senior Calendar of Events

Second Semester is finally here!! This is a special time for our community as we prepare for Senior events such as Senior Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate and Commencement. The next few months are going to pass quickly. Coupled with senior exams, AP exams, and many academic challenges comes the task of keeping track of all the events that Seniors must attend. 

Attached please find a calendar listing all the events that seniors must attend in preparation for Commencement. Seniors, please remember that most of these events are mandatory and that your promptness will help all of us. Parents are invited to attend several of these functions as noted in the calendar. Please note the proper dress for each occasion in the dress code listed below. Caps and gowns will be distributed on Thursday, May 14.  

At Commencement, please remember that seats are available on a first come first served basis after 7:00 AM and that a family member must be present to hold seats. Any reserved signs placed on seats prior to 7:00 AM will be removed. The Ironman Competition will be taking place in Jacksonville this year at the same time as Commencement, for more information on how this might effect traffic getting to and from campus the morning of commencement please visit the Ironman website.

Dress Code For All Ceremonies

Wrinkle Free Cap and Gown

(Place gown in dryer with a damp wash cloth and a dryer sheet. Do not iron, the material  will melt!!) 

Girls:

Attire: Dress or Skirt and Top (Rompers are okay, please be mindful of length) Shoes: No flip flops, canvas or athletic shoes. Please remember that you will be processing  through the mulch path, wedges or flats would be best. 

Boys:

Must be clean shaven. (We will have shaving kits on hand if you show up for any ceremony  and are not clean shaven) 

Attire: Light colored Dress Shirt, Dress Pants and Tie. No Shorts!!

2026 Jacksonville Preparatory Schools College Fair – Thursday, February 26, 2026

All sophomores, juniors, and their parents are invited to attend the 2026 Jacksonville Preparatory Schools College Fair.

  • Where: UNF University Center, 12000 Alumni Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224 
  • Time: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
  • Students can register now at http://Strivefair.com. They will receive a bar code once they register and StriveScan will resend them a copy of their barcode two hours prior to the fair’s start time.
  • More than 100 colleges and universities have registered to date. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage with admissions professionals from around the world!

Deadline to Purchase a Paver is March 3

Purchase a paver inscribed with your child or grandchild’s name, the name of a friend, alumnus, parent, grandparent, favorite teacher, special team, event or club. The paver will be placed on the Munnerlyn or Beaches Campus, whichever you request.

The deadline to order and have the paver installed in spring of 2026 is March 3. Orders received after the deadline will be processed, but pavers will be laid during spring 2027. Please contact Lisa Allen at allenl@esj.org or 904-396-5751, ext. 1111 with questions.
