Beaches Campus Challenge Day 2025 (May 16)

The Beaches Campus will host its Challenge Day on Friday, May 16.  Pre-K students will hold their Challenge Day from 9:30 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. and kindergarten – fifth grade students will hold their Challenge Day from 10:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Schedule of Activities (Kindergarten – Fifth Grade)

10:30 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. : Partner Reading

10:50 a.m. – 11: 25 a.m. : STEM Activity in the Gym

11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. : Pizza lunch from Milano’s

12:15 p.m. – 12:35 p.m. : Read in classroom

12:40 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. : Field Events

2:25 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. : Kona Ice

Challenge Day is a fun day on the Beaches Campus. Challenge Day shirts will be provided for students, faculty, and staff by the campus.  Please have your student wear athletic shoes and bring a change of clothes.

*Pizza lunch and Kona Ice will be provided by the school.

After Drop Off

Bikes, scooters, skateboards, and wagons welcome.  *No electric scooters or bikes please. Don’t forget your helmets!

Bike Parade Special Notes:

  • Sport themed bike parade to end the school year.
  • Wheels will be decorated at home. Parents, please transport wheels to and from school.
  • Parents drop off students at regular time.
  • Parents drop off wheels and helmets at the designated area near the parade route.  Grade level drop off area will be marked with grade level signs on St.  Paul’s by-the-Sea Church lawn.
  • Parents can line the parade route which will be on 5th Street in front of Stormes Hall.

Beaches Campus Uniform Exchange Event and Drop Off Information (May 21)

Please join us for a uniform recycle event on Wednesday, May 21 | 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in Hope Hall Art Room! This is an opportunity for families to trade outgrown uniforms with one another. *New 2025-2026 families are invited 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Drop Off Information:

We need your help to make this a success! Please drop gently used and outgrown uniforms (washed and folded) in the collection bins located in front office areas May 16-20.

The ceremony will be held inside the sanctuary at St. Paul’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church on Thursday, May 21, at 1:00 p.m.Attire
Boys: Dress pants, button down shirts, ties optional
Girls: Dresses, skirts, dress pants, dressy blouse
Shoes: Dress shoes are required. (Sneakers, athletic shoes, flip-flops, and any other casual footwear are prohibited.)
*Please follow school appearance guidelines per the handbook.

Immediately following the ceremony, please join us for a reception catered by Honey & Brie in the Petway Family Performance Center. Fifth grade artwork will also be on display during the reception.

End of the School Year Celebration (May 23)

We’re wrapping up the school year with a fun-filled End of the Year Celebration on Friday, May 23, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., as part of our last day of school festivities!

End of the Year Library Reminder

During the week of May 4 – May 8, each student will only be able to have one library book out.  After May 8, there will be no more checkouts.  All library books need to come back to the library by Monday, May 11.

Last Day of School – Early Dismissal/No Extended Day (May 22)

Friday, May 22 is the last day of school and Noon dismissal. Afternoon Eagles is closed.

Please note the following dismissal instructions:

 

  • Families with only Pre-Kindergarten and K-5 grade siblings:
    You may remain in your car and go through the Little Loop carpool circle for pick-up.

 

  • Families with children in ELP 1–grade 5:
    • K–5 siblings will be walked over to the Little Loop, where you can pick up all of your children together. 
    • If you have a student in ELP 1 or ELP 2, you will need to park and walk up to Dempsey Chapel to pick up your child. Your older children will be waiting on the deck. ELP 1 and ELP 2 students will be ready for pick up at 11:50.

 

  • Families with multiple children in K–5:
    Pick up will take place at the Main Carpool area.
