Each year, ESJ faculty and staff participate in professional development to expand their knowledge in the ever-changing world of education. By remaining on the cutting-edge of their field, they serve as a cornerstone to student achievement in the classroom.
Your gift to The Episcopal Fund helps the school to continue to hire, retain, and invest in professional development for exemplary teachers who share their lifelong love of learning and empower students every day. There is no greater return on an investment than the education of our children.
We invite you to make your gift online today.

New This Week
Friday Flag is every Friday, 8:05-8:25am in the Petway Family Performance Center. The entire school gathers for the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, and to celebrate accomplishments. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend!
Pre-K 3–Second Grade: Students should go to their classrooms first. Parents may drop off their child in the courtyard before heading directly to the gym.
Third–Fifth Grade: Students and parents should head directly to the gym.
Carpool: Both McCormick and Largura carpool locations will be open.
The fun begins Monday, August 17! Our After School Activities program kicks off next week, and we can’t wait to see our Eagles enjoying an exciting lineup of activities, sports, and enrichment opportunities.
After School Activities begin at 3:30 PM and end at 4:30 PM unless otherwise stated in the registration. Parents will pick up their children in the carpool loop in front of McCormick Hall at 4:30. Carpool is preferred, but if you choose to walk up to get your child, please use the crosswalk and wait with your number by the black Hope Hall gate. We will bring your child to you. Students who are not picked up at that time will be sent to the Extended Day (charges will apply). The Extended Day phone number is 904-631-0375. Please refrain from picking your child up early from their after school activity unless it is an emergency.
Join fellow parents for meaningful conversation, connection, and a great book this fall! The Fall book is Capable: How to Teach Your Kids the Strengths, Skills, and Strategies to Build Resilience by Sissy Goff and David Thomas.
The Fall Parent Book Club begins Friday, August 28, in the Art Room after Flag. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents, enjoy thoughtful discussion, and take a little time to read and reflect together throughout the First Semester.
The Parent Book Club includes both avid readers and those simply looking for a way to connect with other members of our school community.
