The past week has been a winning one for the Eagles, including one district championship; two regional championships; earned spots at state finals, and two punched tickets to state Final Four competitions! Girls Lacrosse defeated Bolles 22-12 in the regional final last Saturday, advancing to the state Final Four for the fourth time in five years. The team will head to Naples for a state semifinal match up with Lake Highland Prep at 12:00 p.m. Friday. Beach Volleyball had similar success, defeating Florida High in three games to win back-to-back region championships! The win takes them back to Tallahassee for a state semifinal contest with Berkeley Prep on Friday at 4:00 p.m. Varsity Softball defeated Bolles last week in the district finals 9-7 to claim the district title! The team will host Bishop Snyder at Marchman Field tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the regional quarterfinals. Boys Weightlifting will send three lifters to the FHSAA State Finals tomorrow for the state meet held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland. Will Adams ’28, Milo Phillips ’27, and Theo Winslow ’27 advanced out of the regional meet last week to earn a spot in the state meet. Go Eagles!
