Episcopal’s Senior Honor Convocation honored members of the Class of 2026 with department awards and other recognitions. Convocation was held on the Acosta-Schmidt House Lawn Friday, May 15. The Invocation was given by The Rev. Teresa Seagle, Chaplain and the welcome was given by The Rev. Adam S. Greene, Head of School.

Parents Association Service Scholarship:

The PAS Scholarship is awarded to recognize exemplary community service. The Parents’ Association provides a grant for the scholarship.
The Yvonne and Monique Grand Award:
Eileen Hu
The Yvonne and Monique Grand Scholarship is awarded in honor of Yvonne ’87 and Mokie ’89 Grand to a senior who has a strong academic record and who has made significant contributions to both the school and the community.
The Guardian Award:
Faculty Member: Jono Hustis
Student: Mattia Pozzoni
Seniors nominate an Episcopal faculty or staff member who has been a guardian for them and has helped them understand the importance of being guardians for others.

The Margaret Winters Buck Christian Service Award:

This award is presented to a senior whose actions on behalf of others are so outstanding as to warrant special recognition.
The Sarah Towers Van Cleve Honor Code Award:
Anaka Davidsen
This award recognizes a senior who has made the most significant contribution to the honor system and who best exemplifies the characteristics on which honor is based.
The Alumni Association Leadership Award:
Charlie DeVooght
This award is given to a senior who has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability.
The Dorion Award:
Peyton Grace “PG ” Chupp
This award is presented to a senior who has shown the tenacity and perseverance in his/her studies to excel above and beyond expectations.
The Episcopal School of Jacksonville Foundation Award for Excellence of Character:
Brooke McCoy
This award recognizes a senior whose life exemplifies integrity, honor, loving concern for others, and all other virtues for which the school stands.
The Board of Regents Award of Merit:
Stella Herford
This award is presented to a senior who has demonstrated superior scholarship, exemplary leadership, and Christian ideals.
The Board of Trustees Awards for Outstanding Seniors:
These awards recognize two seniors who have made outstanding contributions to every aspect of school life: academics, fine arts, athletics, character, service, and honor.
