Last week’s “Celebrate Middle School” Chapel gave the Munnerlyn Campus a chance to recognize excellence in grades 6-8. This annual tradition hands the stage over to Middle School leaders–for readings, music, and the 8th grade Chapel dance–and includes four major award presentations. Eighth-grade students Andrew Pak (Kay Zambetti Christian Service Award), Ansley Germaine (Mary of Bethany Award), Scarlett Davidsen (Great Oak Award of Distinction), and Fritz Parman (Great Oak Award of Distinction) were applauded for their character and for their contributions to the school across all Four Pillars. The works of Middle School visual art students, including the painting above by Lily Tight ’29, were used in the Chapel slideshow.
