Dear Families,

We are excited to share that our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair will also include a special opportunity to give back to our community.

This year, we are partnering with a local Title I school to help grow their classroom libraries and provide students with access to books of their own. This school has not had a functioning library for many years, which means students are currently only able to access the books available within their individual classrooms. We would love to help expand their access to stories and resources.

If your family is willing, we encourage you to consider purchasing one additional book during the book fair to donate.

We will also be collecting gently used children’s books that your family may no longer need. These donations are a wonderful way to share stories your children have loved with another child who will cherish them just as much.

A single book may seem small, but it can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life, helping build literacy, confidence, and a love of reading.

There will be designated collection areas at the fair and in the front office for both new and gently used book donations. We are grateful for any participation and appreciate your support in helping us share the joy of reading with others.
