St. Mark’s Campus is honored to host renown illustrator and author Brian Lies on campus Friday, January 27.

Pre-K 3 – third grade students will receive a peek into how an author/illustrator creates a picture book. Fourth and fifth grade students will participate in a writing workshop with Lies. This workshop will focus on collecting and using compelling and powerful sensory details to use in a short piece of descriptive nonfiction writing.
