Varsity Boys Soccer plays in the state championship game tonight, February 18, after upseting number one seed Tampa Prep last night in the semifinals. The Eagles are undefeated for the season. Down 1-0, Robert Adams ’26 scored the equalizer from a corner throw in from Charlie DeVooght ’26 to tie the match. The Eagles were still tied 1-1 in overtime, winning in dramatic fashion in a penalty kick shootout! The team now has 22 wins for the season and will face Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Auburndale for the FHSAA state championship title! Go Eagles! Watch online.
