School Choice Scholarships are available for students entering kindergarten through grade 12. Entering Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students may apply for the Unique Abilities Scholarship.

Important Date

February 1 – Florida School Choice Scholarship application opens for renewal and new applicants. New applicants can apply for the 2026-2027 school year through Step Up for Students. 

Key Information & Important Change for Scholarship Applicants

Here is some helpful information to be aware of, including important changes that families will need to complete this year:

• Proof of Residency- beginning 2026-27, this must include TWO different document types and be provided by either the primary or secondary guardian.

Important step for families: Once a student is found eligible, the family will be asked to “Accept” or “Decline” the scholarship. Once accepted, the student’s status will be updated to “Awarded.” Please monitor your email for future updates about enrollment.
