Assistant Head of School – Carley Baggs
Carley most recently served as Director of Pre-Primary, where she oversaw curriculum, operations, and day-to-day leadership for ELP 1 through kindergarten. In this role, she supported academic programs by collaborating on instructional oversight, conducting teacher observations, analyzing student data, and developing targeted action plans to support student growth. Prior to that role, she brought a wealth of experience as a lead teacher in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. A graduate of the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Carley is certified in K–6 education with endorsements in ESOL and Reading. She is a passionate educator and dedicated leader.
Director of Pre-Primary and Auxiliary Programs – Ashley Madsen
Ashley taught second grade this past year and brings a strong background in both classroom instruction and school leadership. Prior to moving to Jacksonville, she served as a lead teacher, interventionist, and Assistant Principal. With a master’s degree in Educational Administration, Ashley is well prepared to lead the Pre-Primary team and continue fostering a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for our youngest students.
Second Grade – Beth Roberts
Beth Roberts brings over a decade of experience in early elementary education, including her most recent role at Jacksonville Country Day School, where she has taught second grade since 2017. Known for creating engaging, student-centered classrooms and supporting a wide range of learners, Beth is passionate about fostering both academic excellence and personal growth. Her collaborative approach, commitment to individualized instruction, and dedication to nurturing character development will be a great asset to our school community.
Third Grade – Jessi Pullen
With over 20 years of experience in education, Jessi brings a deep passion for student success and a proven record of leadership both in and out of the classroom. She has served as Assistant Principal at Argyle Elementary, led professional development in partnership with the University of Florida, and implemented programs that supported both academic growth and school culture. Jessi was honored as Teacher of the Year at Oakleaf Village Elementary. Her classroom experience spans multiple grade levels and inclusion settings, and she is known for her creativity, commitment, and collaborative spirit.
Fourth Grade – Beth Harralson
Beth joins us with a strong foundation in both classroom instruction and educator support, having taught elementary and middle school students and, most recently, coordinated professional learning for teachers nationwide. Her work has focused on promoting literacy growth, fostering inclusive practices, and building meaningful connections with students and their families. Beth looks forward to creating a positive, student-centered learning environment and becoming an active member of the school community.
Fourth Grade – Morgan Lankford
Morgan brings many years of elementary teaching experience, having most recently served as a School-Based Math Coach at W.E. Cherry Elementary. She has taught both first and fourth grade, mentored teacher candidates, led professional learning communities, and collaborated with district leaders on curriculum design. Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University and is certified in K–6 education with endorsements in ESOL, Reading, and Clinical Education.
Learning Specialists – Sheryl Brantley and Christine Burkett
Sheryl Brantley brings a wealth of experience in independent school leadership and student support. Most recently, she served as Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment at All Saints Academy in Winter Haven, Florida, where she launched and oversaw a thriving Academic Skills Center. Sheryl previously spent nearly two decades on the St. Mark’s Campus, where she served as a Learning Specialist, Director of the Learning Specialist Team, and Dean of Students. She holds a Master’s in Education Administration and Supervision from Liberty University and has presented nationally on resilience and academic support programs.
Christine Burkett joins us following her role last school year as a long-term second grade substitute teacher. Prior to that, she served as a classroom teacher and Learning Specialist at The Bolles School, where she provided instructional support to students in grades 1–5. Christine brings nearly 20 years of experience in independent schools, including five years teaching first and second grade on the St. Mark’s Campus. She is deeply committed to differentiated instruction and supporting each student’s growth and development. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina.
Fine Arts Assistant – Annie Roberts
Having served as an acting coach, backstage production assistant, and guest violinist, Annie Roberts brings significant fine arts experience to the St. Mark’s Campus. She will assist Bebe Alexander and Susanne Daily in the visual and musical arts. She will also assist Coach Abreu in Physical Education.
Pre-K 4 Assistant – Destiny Reichenbach
Destiny Reichenback will assist Elizabeth Momberg in Pre-K 4 this coming school year. Having served as a substitute teacher numerous times this past school year and worked during Camp Create, she is a familiar face on campus. Previously, she served as a Teaching Assistant at Old Plank Christian Academy.
