The Wrestling program at Episcopal is committed to representing the school well by fielding a competitive team of disciplined, high-character wrestlers. The program includes both Varsity and Middle School teams, and with the school’s commitment to developing young athletes and helping them to benefit from the many positives of participating in sports, wrestling is a no-cut program. During the 2023-2024 winter season, the Varsity team won 21 dual matches, District Runner Up, five Individual District Champions,12 regional qualifiers,  three state qualifiers, and one state placer. The team also won the 2024 Prep Slam tournament beating Bolles, Bishop Kenny, and Bishop Synder. While the Middle School squad celebrated eight individuals finishing in the top four of their weight classes at the North Florida Championship. The program offers offseason workouts, AAU club practices, and offseason camp opportunities to continue advancing the sport of wrestling at Episcopal such as Appalachian State team Camp, Osceola Team Camp, and multiple tournaments across the state of Florida.

Darren Glenn

Darren Glenn, a two-time state qualifier and two-time freestyle and Greco state champion during his high school days, also went on to earn four varsity letters at Central Iowa where he was a national qualifier. Since joining the coaching staff at Episcopal, Coach Glenn has been a part of more than 75 dual wins and has coached multiple state medalists. In 2022-2023 Episcopal wrestling posted a school record for team wins (26), the district dual championship, regional semifinal championship, and finished in the top eight statewide with the team’s first-ever appearance in the state dual championship. More impressively, they were team academic state champions for the 1A classification.
