The Episcopal Boys Weightlifting team, coached by Wyatt Walker, is one of the fastest-growing programs at the school, welcoming athletes from ninth through twelfth grade. Competing in both traditional and Olympic weightlifting, the team trains in the state-of-the-art Cerveny Weight Room, built in 2017, located within the Jangro Stadium complex. The program continues to thrive, with several student-athletes moving on to compete at the collegiate level. In 2024 seven student-athletes qualified for Regionals, with the team aiming for even more in the current year. Episcopal’s weightlifting program provides a valuable opportunity for students to develop both physically and mentally.
