The ESJ Fine Arts Department invites students, families, and community members to attend The Art of Art, a night of creativity and exploration of visual arts. Come try throwing a pot on a ceramics wheel, participate in a photography demonstration, or create artwork that you can bring home.
This free event takes place on January 16 from 5-8 PM on Arts Row on St. Elmo Drive at the Munnerlyn Campus.
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are open and now is the time to apply for siblings at all ESJ campuses!
Episcopal families interested in a sibling applying to the Beaches Campus (Grades Pre-K 3 – 5), St. Mark’s Campus (Age 1 – Grade 5) or Munnerlyn Campus (Grades 6 – 12) should follow the steps below and complete the process by January 31. Siblings receive priority consideration, but space is limited, so be sure to complete the application process early.

New This Week
Ninth graders and Upper School counselors are still talking about the fun and challenges of the Freshman Orientation Adventure (9GOA). The campers are grateful for the caring and wise counselors, the great food, the connections with nature, and the incredible singing at the campfires. The killer rapids on the Chattooga River, the 5-mile hike, Bob Slack, the bus rides, and the emotional closing circle were named as highlights of the trip, and the frequent rainstorms and yellow jackets have faded in our memories. Students started school with new friends and a new respect for their own abilities. Last week each camper and counselor was given an envelope of trip photos. In addition, a trailer of the trip video is shared below.
On the trip there was a constant presence of love and safety from the teachers, seniors, juniors, and God. I will be forever grateful for this wonderful experience. There was not a thing that we did not like. At the closing circle I looked around at my grade and felt so blessed to go to ESJ and to go on this trip.-
