Cheerleaders Receive Lisa Lampe Rogers '85 Excellence in Cheer Award
Cheerleaders Reagan Rawls ’21 and Madison Clark ’20 were recently awarded the newly established Lisa Lampe Rogers ’85 Excellence in Cheer Award. Lisa Lampe Rogers ’85 cheered for the Eagles in the 1980s. After graduating from Episcopal in 1985, Lisa faithfully served Episcopal in many ways, including serving on the Alumni Board for six years. She gave tours to prospective families from St. Mark’s and spoke at career day. She rallied classmates to attend reunions and homecoming, and she promoted the school to friends and colleagues. Lisa’s three children attended Episcopal: Mead ’15, Garland ’24 and Nathan, who attended as a member of the Class of 2019. Lisa served as a parent representative for The Episcopal Fund for several years. She was also a member of the school’s 1966 Society of loyal donors who give every year. “She was upbeat and positive about Episcopal and about life, and there could be no better tribute to Lisa Lampe Rogers than to name the Cheer Award in her honor,” said Coach Janet Buford. Lisa passed away in 2016.
