Visual Art Students' Work Displayed on Campus

Middle School visual artists currently have works on display in the Berg Gallery, and the Bryan Library Gallery space now displays new Draw, Paint, Print 1 charcoal drawings. Students are learning techniques in different types of charcoal and the instructed emphasis for the works was on seeing proportions and value shapes. Imagery was student choice. In addition, selected artworks were chosen for display during Quarter 4 in Admissions Office, including stretched canvas by tenth graders Caroline Terre, Ally Raudenbush, Madison Clark, and Mark Parent and larger paintings by tenth graders Madeline Pruden and Olivia Orr.  Finally, seven of ESJ’s Visual Arts Draw, Paint, and Print tenth grade students took time out of their day to paint the banners for Celebration 2018: Chef’s Table – Rooted in Episcopal last weekend for decoration in the Buck.
