Aland Family Supports Beaches Campus Classroom Expansion
Julia and Patrick Aland were among the first supporters of the Beaches Campus Classroom Expansion capital campaign. As a Kindergarten teacher and mother of two Beaches Campus students, Julia sees firsthand the need for more classroom space on campus. Pat and Julia were drawn to the school for its commitment to a faith-based, well-rounded education that nurtures the whole child. “We saw Episcopal’s dedication to strong academics, character development, and spiritual growth and knew that it would be a place where our children could flourish and grow,” said Julia.
Additionally, the Alands said how much they love the overall community at the Beaches Campus. “Since we’re not Jacksonville natives, we hoped to find not only a school but also a network of friends and support. Episcopal has been that family for us. Annual events like Boo Bash and Family Fun Night have been highlights that continue to bring us together. Through these gatherings, we’ve built lasting friendships and countless memories, making Episcopal feel like home,” they said.
When asked why they help support Episcopal financially, Patrick and Julia said, “Our family believes wholeheartedly in Episcopal’s mission to cultivate academic excellence while encouraging students to explore fine arts, athletics, and spiritual growth. The school’s Four Pillars, particularly the focus on character and values, align with what we hope to instill in both our own children and the entire Episcopal community. Supporting the school’s mission financially is our way of contributing to a place that gives so much to its students and families.”
To date, the BCCE capital campaign has raised over $800,000 for construction on the new classroom building. We still need your help to reach our goal of $3,750,000. To donate, please contact Ryan Riggs, Director of Major Gifts, at [email protected] or click here.
