Breaking Ground: New Classroom Building Construction Begins

Exciting times are underway as the Beaches Campus breaks ground on a new classroom building, marking the beginning of an important addition to the campus. This expansion will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational environment, accommodating the student body at two classes per grade, and providing more dynamic learning spaces.

The initial phases of groundwork and construction preparation have started, with crews preparing the land for the new building. This building has been designed with input from faculty, architects, and educational planners, ensuring the final structure will meet the evolving needs of the Beaches Campus students and teachers.

Scheduled to open in summer 2025, the new classroom building will feature modern, flexible spaces that foster both collaboration and independent study, with classrooms equipped with the latest technology.

“In the coming months, we will share updates as the building begins to take shape,” said Dave Hess, Director of Campus Operations. “We look forward to the day we can gather to cut the ribbon on this beautiful, transformative addition to the Beaches Campus. Until then, we invite you to join us in watching the progress and celebrating the new addition to the school.”

This project would not have been possible without the generous support of donors and the dedication of the Beaches Campus community.

“We’re grateful for the commitment to our shared vision of excellence in education, which has fueled this initiative from concept to breaking ground,” said Jennifer Ketchum, Head of Lower School, Beaches Campus. “Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey—our community’s commitment to growth and learning is building a legacy that will impact generations to come.”
