Spooktacular Fun on the Beaches Campus
Last Tuesday, the Beaches Campus was filled with excitement and laughter as students celebrated Halloween with a costume parade and classroom parties. This beloved annual tradition brought together students, teachers, and parents for a day of spooktacular fun.
The day started with the highly anticipated costume parade, where students (and teachers) from all grades showcased their creative and imaginative Halloween outfits. From adorable fairies and whimsical witches to fearless superheroes and mythical creatures, the lawn of St. Paul’s by-the-Sea Church was transformed into a colorful and vibrant runway of endless creativity. The parade allowed the children to flaunt their unique costumes while fostering a sense of camaraderie and belonging within the school community. It was heartwarming to see students cheering for their peers and sharing compliments on their outfits.
Following the parade, students returned to their classrooms for Halloween parties filled with spooky snacks, thrilling games, and creepy crafts. Each classroom was adorned with festive decorations, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The homeroom parents played a crucial role in organizing these festivities, working tirelessly to ensure that the Halloween parties were a resounding success. They brought in delectable treats, helped set up decorations, and led engaging activities that kept the students entertained. Thanks to their dedication, the children had a memorable and enjoyable experience.
“The costume parade and Halloween parties were a wonderful success, bringing joy, laughter, and a strong sense of community to our students,” said Jennifer Ketchum, Head of Lower School, Beaches Campus. “It’s heartwarming to see our school come together to celebrate these special moments. As we look forward to future celebrations, let us remember the dedication and spirit of our homeroom parents and the love and support that make our school such a wonderful place for our children. Thank you all for contributing to the magic of Halloween on the Beaches Campus.”
