Celebrating Beaches Campus Teachers During Teacher Appreciation Week

Teachers change the lives of children every day and our educators are working hard to ensure every student has the tools he or she needs to reach their full potential. Last week Beaches Campus celebrated its faculty members during Teacher Appreciation Week. Our educators make a difference each and every day, and we are thankful for the impact they make on our students’ lives.

 

The Beaches Campus Parent Association and Teacher Appreciation Week Chairs, Shannon Everett and Amberlee Hewett, hosted many activities throughout the week to honor the faculty. Activities included:

Monday: Catered breakfast from Panera

Tuesday: Snacks in the Teacher Workroom and market flowers from students

Wednesday: Special Chapel blessing, gift from each class and cookies from Pastry Chef Rebecca Reed and Bellwether

Thursday: Faculty and Staff Catered Luncheon from Taco Libre. 

Friday: Coffee Cart, Teacher Dress Down Day, and Shout Outs during Friday Flag

 

“It was amazing to see the Beaches Campus community come together to celebrate and recognize our wonderful faculty members during Teacher Appreciation Week”, said Jessica Waugaman, Beaches Campus Parent Association President. “The activities planned by the Teacher Appreciation Co-chairs were thoughtful and truly showed how much our teachers are valued. The parents’ additional contributions throughout the week added to the incredible kindness and gratitude we have for our faculty. It was a beautiful display of support for our devoted educators. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Beaches community! I am certain that this week left our faculty feeling truly appreciated.”
