‘Tis the Season of Holiday Music: Choral and Band Concerts

‘Tis the season of holiday music. The Department of Fine Arts is delighted to bring you two holiday concerts.

Don’t miss the Chorus Concert: A Classic Christmas, being held Friday, December 6 at 6:00 PM at the St. John’s Cathedral. Audiences will enjoy jazzy holiday favorites from a bygone era, such as “We Wish you the Merriest,” “Mistletoe and Holly,” and “Man with the Bag.” There is no cost for this event and tickets are not needed. Please come early as seats fill up quickly.

The next holiday concert is Holiday Harmonies, presented by the ESJ instrumental music program on Thursday, December 12 at 6PM in the Deming Theatre. This concert will feature Jazz Band, Beginning Band, Middle School Concert Band, and Upper School Wind Ensembles. A few selections you will hear include “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Cathedral Bell Fantasy,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and “Latin Bell Carol.” Tickets for this festive performance are $15 for general admission and free for ESJ students with their student ID.
