Parent Book Study (October 24)
Parent Book Study is meeting three Thursday mornings in a row as that is how this year’s schedule worked out. We’ll meet next Thursday, October 24, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at St. John’s Cathedral, 256 Church St E, 32202. It is a lovely time of year to be together outside in Burwell Court. Come right after drop off as the doors open at 8:00 a.m., and we will meet from 8:30-9:30 a.m. It is never too late to come for the first time or come back if you haven’t been in a while. The other dates for the first Semester are: 10/31 and 11/7.
On October 24 we will be discussing Chapter 2 Name It to Tame It: Unpacking the Deep Roots of Parental Anxiety from Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic-And What We Can Do About It by Jennifer Breheny Wallace. Copies of the book are available at the Campus Store.
Please let Beth Collins Himes P’21, P’25 know if you have questions or want to be added to the email group, [email protected] or 404-918-0949.
