7th Grade Experiential Learning Trip (March 22)

Our seventh grade students will be traveling to the Gainesville area on Friday, March 22, 2024. This experiential learning trip utilizes the outstanding resources available at the Florida Museum of Natural History and Poe Springs Park to augment our Earth and Space Science curriculum. Students will use information and content they gather on the trip in a project. An alternative assignment will be provided if a student is unable to attend.

Students will be in small groups and chaperoned by Middle School faculty. Below is a general schedule for the day:

SCHEDULE:   

  • 8:05 a.m. –  Report to Advisory
  • 8:15 a.m. Depart from ESJ
  • 10:15 a.m. – Poe Springs Park & Florida Museum of Natural History
  • 3:30 p.m. – Depart for ESJ
  • 5:30 p.m. – Estimated Arrival at ESJ

The cost for this trip is included in tuition therefore there are no additional fees. Lunch will be provided, and students will not need to bring money. Students must wear Episcopal spirit dress and shoes that tie for safety reasons.
