Winter Band Concert (Nov. 30) and Christmas Choral Concert (Dec. 1)
The ESJ community now has two ways to celebrate the holiday season through music. For the first time, the band and the chorus are presenting two separate winter concerts instead of one combined concert. On Thursday, November 30 at 7:00 PM, the ESJ instrumental music program will present the Sounds of the Season: Winter Band Concert. This performance features our ESJ instrumental ensembles performing seasonal music. In addition, our Jazz Band will be collaborating with members of the Dance Ensemble on a classic Duke Ellington tune. The Christmas Band Concert will take place in the Deming Theatre. General admission tickets are now available for $20 at https://esj.booktix.net/. ESJ students are free when they show their student ID upon entrance. Purchase your tickets today before they are gone!
Our annual Christmas Choral Concert: A Home Alone Christmas will continue to be held in the beautiful St. John’s Cathedral on December 1 at 6:00 PM. This year’s performance features music from the classic family movie Home Alone. Audiences will enjoy holiday songs such as “Somewhere in my Memory,” “Star of Bethlehem,” and “O Holy Night.” There is no cost for this event and tickets are not needed. For more information about either of our holiday concerts, please contact Melissa Salek at [email protected].
