St. Mark’s Campus Hosts Successful Book Fair and Fall Festival

Episcopal School of Jacksonville, St. Mark’s Campus Parents’ Association hosted a Fall Festival and Book Fair on Friday, November 3. These two events created a day of literary exploration and fun-filled activities for students, families, neighbors, and prospective attendees alike.

Book Fair Chairs, Callie Sprague, Charla Cerveny, and Rachel Morgan led a successful event that allowed budding readers and parents to browse books and get a jump-start on holiday shopping.

Fall Festival Chairs, Jackie Husty and Madison Parman orchestrated a seamless evening. From pony rides to bounce houses, the Fall Festival offered various entertainment options for children of all ages. Food trucks lined the perimeter of Berg Field,  providing dinner and treats. Several prospective families expressed their enjoyment of the Fall Festival, noting how it provided a glimpse into the sense of community that defines Episcopal School of Jacksonville.

One notable highlight of the evening was the participation of Eagle Ambassadors from the Munnerlyn Campus, who volunteered their time to ensure the smooth running of the festival. “Their dedication and support were invaluable to the overall success of the event,” said Susan Kwartler, Director of Development. “We loved having our older Eagles on campus!”

Adding an extra touch of school spirit to the festivities, the ESJ Campus store set up shop at the Fall Festival, offering a range of ESJ merchandise that enhanced the sense of Eagle pride.

The success of the Fall Festival and Book Fair would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of the event chairs and countless volunteers. Special thanks to Diamond D Ranch for providing the beloved ponies that brought smiles to countless faces, as well as DJ Wes Reed for setting the perfect musical backdrop for the evening.

The Episcopal School of Jacksonville, St. Mark’s Campus, looks back on this event with gratitude for the support of the entire community and is excited to continue fostering an environment of learning, community, and fun for all its students and families.
