Progress Continues on Haskell Center for Science and Student Life
Construction on the Haskell Center for Science and Student Life remains on schedule, as workers continue to place the steel beams that form the building’s skeleton before working on the exterior walls. Prep work for the new kitchen and dining hall on the first floor proceeds, as does work for the new science and technology classrooms on the second floor. The top of the roof is slanted so that solar panels will more efficiently convert sunlight into electricity. “We are thrilled with how well Haskell is managing this massive project. Haskell has kept moving forward with construction on a timely and cost-effective pace,” said David Hess, Episcopal’s Director of Campus Operations. Currently Episcopal has raised $19.6 million of the $26 million Boldly ESJ campaign goal.
