Students Splash Into Summer with Celebratory Events

Today, May 24, ELP 1 – fifth grade students enjoyed rainy-day water festivities and fun thanks to Splash Into Summer. Early Learning Program students participated in age-appropriate sprinkler, water pad, and messy sensory bin play while older students braved giant water slides! Fifth grade students had the privilege of attending an off-site pool party. Pre-Kindergarten students also enjoyed a movie complete with freshly popped popcorn!

Splash Into Summer came at the heels of Field Day. Kindergarten – fifth grade students participated in a variety of games and challenges including glow in the dark freeze dance, human chain and sponge relays, obstacle courses, and more.

“Celebrating the end of the school year with these festive events followed by fifth grade graduation is the perfect way to end a tremendous year,” said Beville Anderson, Head of Lower School, St. Mark’s Campus. “Our students have worked hard this year and made tremendous strides. We are happy to send them off to summer with a splash!”
