Tyler Bond Joins College Counseling Office

Episcopal is pleased to announce the hiring of Tyler Bond in the College Counseling Office. Tyler comes to ESJ from Cabrini University in Radnor, PA, where he has served as an Admissions Counselor and collegiate soccer coach. While at Cabrini, Tyler gained significant experience in all aspects of college admission.

“We are excited to have Tyler join our team as a College Counselor. He brings valuable knowledge and a fresh perspective to our students and families,” said Julie Carter, Director of College Counseling. “With recent admissions experience,  prior to and since the pandemic, Tyler will contribute first-hand perspectives of the current admissions landscape and emerging trends to our robust Episcopal College Counseling program.”

After teaching middle and high school social studies for several years, Tyler joined the Cabrini admission team, where he served as an Admissions Counselor, with a special focus as the Athletic Liaison and Honors Program Liaison. While working in admissions and coaching, Tyler earned a Master of Sports Administration from Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL.

As a college athlete and collegiate soccer coach, Tyler has a keen understanding of collegiate recruitment and competition. This knowledge has him well-equipped to help aspiring collegiate athletes at Episcopal navigate the process to continue their sport at the next level. His skill set will be an asset to Episcopal athletics as well, as he will be a member of the soccer coaching staff.
