College Counseling Implementing College Kickstart Program

With an ever-changing admissions landscape, there’s an acute need for insights to guide the way. This starts with national trends, but ultimately relies on critical information from our own data. This spring, Episcopal College Counseling will be implementing a new tool that leverages enriched national and Episcopal admissions data along with personalized insights to empower our students in the admissions process. College Kickstart is a program which enables us to create a personalized plan for each student and will help them:

• Craft well-balanced college lists grounded in objective analysis and optimized for best outcomes, setting them up for success in the process 
• Capitalize on early admission opportunities and strategically plan where to report test scores

• Prepare an action plan to prioritize their college list and maximize efficiency in the application process 

• Track key application requirements

• Consider affordability as a part of their plan, by identifying need-based financial assistance and optimizing scholarship opportunities

We are excited to have the opportunity to use this respected data-driven program to provide our

students with timely and invaluable information about the process, and to streamline their

workload. College Kickstart is a separate platform we will use in tandem with SCOIR as students research and refine their college lists.
