7th Grade Science Trip (April 14)
Our seventh grade students will be traveling to the Gainesville area on Friday, April 14, 2023. This learning trip utilizes the outstanding resources available at the Florida Museum of Natural History and Poe Springs Park to support our Earth and Space Science curriculum. Students will use information and content they gather on the trip in a project. An alternative assignment will be provided if a student is unable to attend
Students will be in small groups and chaperoned by middle school instructors. Below is a general schedule for the day:
SCHEDULE:
8:05 a.m. – Report to Advisory
8:15 a.m. – Depart from ESJ
10:00 a.m. – Florida Museum of Natural History
3:15 p.m. – Lunch & Poe Springs Park
3:30 p.m. – Depart from Poe Springs Park
5:00 p.m. – Estimated Arrival at ESJ
The cost for this trip is included in tuition so there are no additional fees. Lunch and a snack will be provided, so students will not need money on this trip. Students must wear Episcopal spirit dress and shoes that tie for safety reasons.
