Students Collaborate with Artists to Create Grade-Level Masterpieces

As part of A Vision for Art’s Student Art Series, A Future for Art, St. Mark’s Campus students have the unique opportunity to work with professional artists to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Completed pieces range from modern and impressionistic to realistic. View photos

“Giving students a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how real artists create is so inspiring,” said Bebe Alexander, Art Instructor and A Vision for Art’s Art Curator. “I am grateful these artists give so generously of their time and talents to share with the next generation of creators!”

In addition to creating a grade level piece alongside an artist, students make individual pieces inspired by the artistic style of their grade-level artist.

A Future for Art is made possible thanks to A Vision for Art Collector sponsors Duval Motor Company and Linda R. Alexander. Bidding for these grade level masterpieces will be available via an online process Friday, April 21 – Tuesday, April 25. Bidding times and more information will be shared at a later date.

Tickets to attend the A Vision for Art Opening Night Celebration on Friday, April 21 may be purchased online at www.avisionforart.com.
