P.S. I Love You Day Celebration (February 10)

Each year on the 2nd Friday of February, schools and communities across the nation celebrate P.S. I Love You Day, with the purpose of reducing mental health stigma, increasing support and awareness about mental health, and reducing bullying. P.S. I Love You Day is a nonprofit organization started by friends of an Episcopal family in honor of a family member lost to suicide. The organization encourages participating partners to wear purple on the 10th, foster kindness, and create a welcoming environment for all. Students are creating related displays around campus, wearing purple, and Sage is providing special themed food on Friday. JTA is partnering with us to celebrate and will light the Acosta Bridge up in purple on Friday as well. For more information, go to http://psiloveyouday.net/ and wear your purple!
